Social Impact Partnerships at Facebook - Fundraising, Crisis Response, Health & Mentorship
Powerful tools that improve people's lives
To make it easier for you and your community to raise money on Facebook, we’ve built free tools to help you collect donations and enable supporters to fundraise for your nonprofit.
Nonprofits using Facebook’s payment platform to process donations pay no fee — 100% of the donations go to the charity.
Now your nonprofit can raise money directly from your Facebook Page with our donate button and Page Fundraisers.
The donate button is a quick way for people to donate to your organization without leaving Facebook. You’ll be able to add the donate button to your page, posts and live video, making it easy for supporters to contribute in a few taps. Donors can now choose to give a one-time or monthly recurring gift.
Whether your goal is to respond to a current event, raise money for a specific program or generally support your cause, your supporters can donate to your Fundraiser directly on Facebook in a few simple clicks.
The fundraiser sticker for Facebook Stories makes it possible for eligible nonprofits and their supporters to fundraise through Facebook Stories.
More and more people are going Live on Facebook to share their experiences. You can add a donate button to Live videos on Facebook. Give people an inside look into your organization and share the impact you’ve made in real-time.
Since the Facebook Fundraiser started, Veteran’s Matter raised more than $50K and housed more than 100 veterans in 21 states.
These tools let people, public figures and brands raise money for your nonprofit on Facebook. Your supporters can set up a dedicated fundraising page to share their story, tell others about your mission and rally around a fundraising goal.
Whether it be for their birthday, in response to a crisis, or in honor of someone, supporters can create a dedicated fundraising page for eligible nonprofits. Friends can donate in a few taps without leaving Facebook, making it easier to collect donations.
Supporters who may not want to create their own fundraiser but want to drive engagement for others can easily add a donate button to any post or live video.
Every day, more than 45 million people give birthday wishes on Facebook, which is why we’re excited to give people the opportunity to create fundraisers for their birthday and make it even more meaningful.
Make reaching goals easier by adding off-Facebook fundraisers to Facebook, and encourage supporter donations with Fundraiser Matching. You can also get a sharable, custom link that connects participants directly to your page.
Connect off-Facebook fundraisers to Facebook to help participants meet their fundraising goals.
Show your passion for your cause by matching your supporters’ donations. Individuals and organizations can rally more supporters to show passion for their cause by pledging to match donations to a fundraiser they’ve created.*
*Matching donations is only currently available across US on-boarded and DAF organizations.
Make it easy for supporters to find your organization on Facebook. Every on-boarded nonprofit has a custom link in the fundraisers section of their Page. When supporters click the link, they’ll be taken to a fundraiser creation for your nonprofit. The link can be shared with supporters in email marketing and on social media as a way to encourage them to fundraise on your behalf.
You can find an approved organization’s customized nonprofit landing page by going to https://www.facebook.com/fund/alias. For example, Feeding America would go to: https://www.facebook.com/fund/FeedingAmerica/
Use the donation sticker in Stories and the donate button on your Business Account to create a fundraiser, encouraging your supporters to donate to your cause directly on Instagram.
Instagram allows eligible nonprofits and their supporters to raise money for charity directly on Instagram in a few ways — a Profile donate button, Donation Sticker in Stories, and Live Donations.
